Modi Rohinygas Self Goal

On 13th August, around 7:30 AM IST, Sr Cabinet Minister made two tweets, announcing a LANDMARK DECISION on housing for #Rohingyas:

Minister, even referenced a report from #ANI to highlight the decision. He was so excited, he tagged HMO, Foreign-Ministry, PIB and India-In-Myanmar twitter handles.

Naturally criticism started flowing in thick and fast from nationalists as this came out-of-the-blue, while Hindu-Refugees at Majnu-Ka-Tila in #Delhi, still devoid of basic-amenities. 

Some self-appointed Govt defenders (a.k.a. Bhajan-Mandali, IT-Cell) started to give lousy explanations:

While all this defense was going on, Home-Minister was silent, though it was tagged in Minister Puri's tweets.

Nearly 6 hours after Puri's tweet, HMO denied the news in totality:

HMO in its clarification said:

• No plan to move Rohingya's to EWS Flats
• HMO only asked to move them to detention-center as their current location is not a detention-center per HMO definition
• HMO wants control on Rohingya's movements
• Delhi-Govt (run by Arvind Kejriwal) wanted to move Rohingya's to EWS flats

This busted the fake-explanations given by Bhajan-Mandali. 

It not only put a big question-mark on Minister Puri's tweets but also many questions on Modi-Govt's functioning and it's handling of Rohingya's:

• Was Puri misled by ANI news?
• Was Puri misled by AAP?
• Was Puri misled by Delhi-Govt?
• Why Puri made that tweet as it didn't concern any of the 3 ministries he is in-charge of?
• How did Rohnigya's got UNHCR IDs? Do Hindu-Refugees have such IDs?
• If Current Rohingya's location in Delhi is not a detention-center, why HMO quiet on this? Why HMO not point this out to Arvind Kejriwal to fix it?
• Do ministers in Modi-Govt talk to each other before such important tweet?
• Why HMO was quiet for 6 hours?
• Did Modi made this decision and then do a U-Turn after angry-feedback from nationalists?
• Now that HMO clarified and busted the landmark-decision, will Puri clarify why he made those tweets? 

Some handles started blaming supreme-court for non-deportation of Rohingya's. However it turned out to be false excuse again as SC didn't stay the deportation but only asked to follow due-process.

Whole episode is very embarrassing to Modi and his ministers. It exposes so many chinks in Govt functioning.

I can't put full blame on Minister Puri as he used to be a diplomat and they are known to use extreme caution before saying any word in public. So was it yet another U-Turn of Modi-Govt or a planned test-drive?

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav - Are we really there?

India has celebrated 75th anniversary of Independence on Aug 15th. PM Modi has given a very long speech from Red-Fort talking about Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and given #PanchPran. 

All good. But should we go bombastic on this celebration, knowing so many issues still unresolved and no resolution in sight for many of them. Let's examine ..

In 8+ yrs of Narendra Modi rule at center, many good things have happened which wasn't possible during #UPA #Congress rule:

• Abrogation of Article 365
• Demonetization
• GST
• The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code
• CAA
• Construction of Ram Mandir
• ISRO Launches
• Surgical-Strike (Uri, Balakot)
• Covid Vaccinations of 100cr+
• Free-Food to 85cr+ during Pandemic
• Free LPG Connections, housing to Poor
• Swatchh Bharat
• JAM Trinity
• Ayushman Health Insurance
• Air India Privatization
• Digital India Initiatives

Yet, so many things still pending and Govt is dithering in taking hard-steps:

1. Judicial Reforms: NJAC was passed during Modi's first-tenue but SC struck it down. Since then, Modi-Govt has developed cold-feet on any judicial-reforms. Much criticized #Collegium system still in place and judges are still being appointed in HCs/SC by whims of top 3-5 judges of SC.
2. Judicial Pendency: As there is no accountability in judiciary, case-pendency now touching 6crs and there is absolutely no effort to reduce the backlog. Modi and ministers, don't speak on this issue as they have no idea/solution to fix this.
3. Black Money: Modi has made big issue of Black-Money in run-up to 2014 elections. He made promise to bring-up black-money stashed abroad. 8 years passed, no a single rupee has come back. Per finance-ministry, we still don't know how much money is parked outside India.
4. Loan-Defaulters (NPAs): Huge loans given during #UPA, has turned NPAs. Per estimates, 15-20 Lakh crores worth of loans, are now NPAs. Many loan-defaulters ran away from India, some during Modi's rule. Govt can't bring them back. For those who are still in India, Govt can't recover full money. Only a small portion has been recovered so far. ED has been making raids under money-laundering but is it enough as arrests are very low?
5. Love Jihad: Many Hindu-Girls getting trapped by Islamists by posing as Hindus. Many of these girls gets raped, forcefully converted and number of them got murdered as well. No govt in India has recognized this a problem yet. Modi-Govt don't even talk about it. This is elephant in the room and we letting our simple girls getting victim of grooming-jihad.
6. Muslim Appeasement: To earn Vishwas of Muslim-Community, Modi-Govt launched so many welfare-schemes exclusively for Muslims e.g. scholarships, money for nikah, free-housing and so on. Minority-Affairs bragged about these stats many times. Yet, Islamic-Fanaticism is all-time high because Modi-Govt is afraid to act against hard-core Islamists. In last 8 years, this has gone unchecked as Govt can't muster courage to ban Islamic organizations like SDPI, PFI and others.
7. SC/ST Act Misuse: To appease SC/ST community, Govt is blind to rampant misuse of SC/ST Act by the community. As per court-data, 95%+ cases filed under SC/ST Act, turned out to be false and got rejected by courts. Cases filed under this Act, make the victim automatic compensation. Greed for such compensation and to settle petty-scores, so many of such cases are being filed everyday to harass the uppercase citizens.
8. Uniform Civil Code: Only Hindus comes under IPC Acts. Most of Muslims and other religion practices are outside the purview of Indian Law. A Uniform-Civil-Code is long sought by law-abiding citizens of India. Because of vote banks, successive Govts chose not implement it. Modi-Govt was expected to bring this law but so far no progress.
9. Population Explosion: India's population now touching 140cr and we are expected to go past China to become largest population in the world. No effort by Modi-Govt to educate people on population-explosion. One community is growing exponentially since Independence, but no govt has the guts to tell them.
10. Rollback Govt: Modi-Govt is perceived as rollback-govt for some of the decisions it made under pressure from aandolanjeevis, as it took U-Turn on long-pending-reforms which it brought and then rolled back:
• Roll back on Farm Laws
• CAA passed but no rules framed yet
• Didn't bring NJAC again
11. Corruption Battle: Most of the corruption cases from #UPA still pending in either courts or with govt-agencies. Modi Govt hasn't shown any hurry to take them to closure as 8 years passed, a few low-level conviction is some cases but no big crook has been apprehended yet:
• 2G Scam
• Coal Scam
• National Hearld Scam
• Bofors Scam
• Augusta Westland Scam
• Choksi/Nirav-Modi Scams
• Vijay Mallya Scam
• NPAs
12. Rogue State Govts: Big Area where Modi-Govt has failed. Govts of West-Bengal, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi and others have done many scams, yet Modi has failed to hold them accountable. In WB, many Hindus got killed, raped, looted, HC had to intervene with CBI Prove, but Modi refused to interfere. Now Teachers Recruitment Scam is exposed in WB, yet Modi Govt is completely silent. Why Modi as PM not holding the corrupt state-govts accountable?
13. Discriminatory POWA:  Places of Worship Act 1991, is highly discriminatory to Hindus as it prevents them to claim their temples on which mosuqes were built during Mughal empire. As Modi-Govt is busy with Muslim-Appeasement, there is no effort to either cancel this act or modify it to allow some relief for Hindus.
14. No Action against Anti-India elements: Many Anti-India riots/disturbances happened in last few years but Modi-Govt hasn't acted against the perpetrators e.g. Delhi-Riots, Anti-CAA protests, Farm-Law Protestors etc. All of them caused havoc to public but Govt dithered to take any action against the willful  perpetrators
15. Surrender to Islamists: Muslim-Feelings can be hurt by anything and everything in India as Govt rush to appease them at the drop of a hat. This has emboldened Muslims to force Govts to forget their crimes and do anything they want.
• Sar Tan Se Juda Fanatics: Recently Nupur Sharma stated few facts in reply to a question in TV-Debate. Facts supported by Islamic-Scholars. Yet an Anti-Hindu fact-checker created a fake-outrage which resulted in riots in many places and Sar Tan Se Juda threat for Poor Nupur. Neither Modi-Govt or SC, provided any help to her
• Islamic Terrorism Ignorance: Few day ago, there was an attack on Salman Rushdie in NY. Many countries condemned the attack but Modi-Govt and most of opposition remained silent to appease Islamists in India. Remember India was the first country to ban Rushdie's book #SatanicVerses and it's still banned 34 years later in 2022. In order to chase illusive Vishwas of this community, Modi-Govt failed to recognize the bigger danger. 

There are many more aspects where we expected Modi-Govt to stand tough and take quick actions. But as years passed by, Modi Govt is going into same appeasement mode which is employed by UPA/Congress Govt.

We completed 75 years of Independence, still number of basic aspects of lives, un-addressed. A Hindu-Citizen (Nupur Sharma) is made to live-in-exile in her own country because PM can't speak against #SarTanSeJudaFanatics.

• How can India develop, when we can't implement basic civil-life which is common to all communities/religions?
• How can we remove Colonial Mindset, when Politicians still go to Rajghat before everything, which is biggest symbol of Colonialism?
• How we can take pride in our roots when POWA-1991 still prevent Hindus to go back to those roots?
• How we can feel united, when we still have specific Acts to help only certain communities, religions?
• How can there be sense-of-duty when some are privileged and not bound by law of the land?

As these Qs still in our face, I don't have any confidence if Panch Pran of Amri Kaal will ever be achieved. We need BIG COURSE CORRECTION and shed the INACTION against Anti-India, Anti-Hindu forces within/outside India.
